The Study of Blood Volume Changes During Normal Pregnancy in Koream Women

Abstract
|
|
|
In 30 normal pregnant women the changes of total blood volume during pregn
ancy was measured by indirect method of Hemolitre using RIHSA (radio-active iodinated human serum albumin).
The result was as follows;
1. The increase percentage of total blood volume and increased volume per body weight at term were 43.2 % and 16.4 ml/kg.
2. The increase percentage of total blood volume and increased volume per body weight at Ist trimester were 16.2 % and 4. 4 ml/kg.
3. The increase percentage of red blood cell volume and increased volume per body weight at term were 25.9 % and 1.6 ml/kg.
4. The decrease percentage of hematocrit value at Ist trimester and term were 7.9% and 12% respectively.
5. The average increase of body weight at term was about 9kg.
